02/02/2026: A fantastic Italian dining experience in Dublin. Woodfire Cafe is an absolute gem. From the moment we sat down, everything felt relaxed, warm, and well looked after. The food was outstanding from start to finish and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. We started with the grilled octopus, which was perfectly cooked,tender, smoky, and full of flavour. The gambas al ajillo were equally impressive, rich and garlicky with just the right kick. For mains, the salsiccia & friarielli pizza was a standout, beautifully blistered base, excellent balance of flavours, and very satisfying. The gnocchi di patate with pollo e funghi was comforting, creamy, and generously portioned—proper Italian comfort food done right. Dessert didn’t disappoint either. Both the classic tiramisu and cannolo siciliano with pistachio were spot on fresh, indulgent, and the perfect end to the meal. Service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was lively without being noisy, and the overall experience felt great value for the quality. Woodfire Cafe is definitely a place I’d happily return to and confidently recommend to anyone looking for excellent Italian food in Dublin
