Big Mike’s in Dublin

Me and my husband had the best steak of our lives here last night. Absolutely unreal cote de boeuf. It literally melted in our mouths. We've been to many restaurants together including some incredible steakhouses but this was by far the best ever. The service was also excellent, orders came out quick. Will return soon. Highly highly recommend.

Really good food, with great service. Prawns absolutely fabulous, sticky toffee Pudding beautiful and fresh. Well worth the visit/experience.

Firstly I need to thank the restaurant for giving us a table at short notice for Saturday night. Having previously eaten in the OG and absolutely loved it, we were really looking forward to Big Mikes. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The service was very poor. Spent a lot of time waiting, sitting with empty plates in front of us, missed drinks orders, cold service, etc. The server we had was working hard while other staff chatted endlessly with a couple of select tables. The food was similar to the OG but on execution lacked the depth of flavour and precision of cooking. We were seated in the terrace near the door which was cold and had nothing to block the cold wind every time the door was opened. Also the DJ playing during dinner service with smoke machine is an unnecessary distraction. It would be more suitable for later in the evening when the food service is finished. I hope this was out of character as the previous restaurant was incredible but this visit was incomparable.

We really loved this place, I went with my partner last weekend, and we had the Premium OG Michael’s Surf n Turf, a mixture of meat and fish… very very very delicious! We loved it 🫶🏻

One of our first trips out with our newborn. Fantastic menu making it difficult to pick!! Had the 2 arancini options and 2 fish special mains (asked for bread to mop up every bit of the seafood bowl). Lemon meringue and sticky toffee for dessert. All accompanied by wine and yummy cocktails (Cherry bomb 🤤). Host was on the ball (especially being supportive with me feeding). So nice to have such lovely food in a nice setting. Loved Michaels....now love Big Mikes.

Amazing! Amazing food! Amazing staff and service! Amazing atmosphere! Never disappoints! Definitely my favourite restaurant!
