Ok food, albeit unoriginal. Left the restaurant reeking of grease.

Great local restaurant. Service is great food good too. Best to book as it can be busy.

We felt rushed and under pressure to finish up and let the staff go home. Several requests to remove food that we hadn't finished. Chips finally taken with the words 'I'll take these now they must be gone cold'. Lights turned fully on before 10p.m and music volume raised. I understand the staff were tired and wanted to go home but it was only 10 o'clock when we felt we had to leave.

It gets five stars, as there are no frills, just honest food, good service, and consistency

Family celebration Golden Wedding Anniversary with elderly family members and children.A delay in the availability of the room was handled superbly by John and Mano with provision of terrace and a complimentary drink.Mano was the epitome of a professional waiter,discreet,kind and attentive to every need.As regular customers we were not in the least surprised by the excellent food offering.A comprehensive wine list complemented the food.A big thankyou to the team in the Bijou fir for making the day memorable

Don't sit near very noisy toilet corridor door until it's fixed! Vegetables with fish were excellent except the very watery pureéd peas! ...blended with water!++ Menu kinda boring. Pricey. Peculuar service. No rush to return.
