Back to Bijou for the last Friday before Christmas. We have been coming here for decades and it is still one of our favourites. Always warm and cosy. Service is attentive and friendly. Cocktails to start with. Food and wine were lovely. This was a lovely night out and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Well done Bijou.

We celebrated our son’s Christening party at Bijou and had such a fantastic time. The food was delicious and every staff member we encountered was so professional and pleasant. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.

Chicken can be a safe bet supposedly but i have had many that didn’t hit the mark for many reasons, NOT today beautiful moist chicken , crispy skin , lovely sauce and excellent spinach and sweet corn and chorizo. A winner just lovely , simple but perfect. Will be back.

25/11/2024: Could not fault this restaurant, four of us ate there on 24th Nov and we all had a great experience. We all had seafood and it was delicious, staff were super, good fun and attentive. My Irish coffee came with chocolate shavings which is probably a nice touch but not mentioned in the menu, however as I can't eat chocolate it's not for me. However this was all sorted out. Highly recommended. 🙂
