Best spot in Ranelagh for a couple of cosy social drinks. Older crowd (over 30s) generally, staff are quick and atmosphere is always very chill.

Nice traditional pub. Good choice of whiskey. A nice Guinness, Murphy's, and Beamish. They also have Five Lamps on tap.

Grand Canal Hotel

10/11/2024: Booked into a room 217 with a broken window. Broken as in you could not close it without a large gap still evident. Shouldn't happen more especially as I had my young son with me. Surely room service had noted it to reception. Moved to a new room straight away and rest of stay was fine. Left a sour taste more so as I have stayed here many times in its past.
08/11/2024: Rooms were big comfortable staff very nice
