Bison Bar in Dublin

Lovely place very quirky, really cool smoking area for a bar and staff were very friendly and attentive. Only down fall was the food went cold very quickly, don't know whether this was due to a draft coming through to where we were sitting but food was tasty enough and what you would expect from a bbq place. We got the meat platters with all meats included, the beef sausage was my favourite very different. The ribs were less barbecue sauce but had more of a spice to them which didn't really appeal to us but was tasty all the same. The brisket is probably the best thing to get as its cooked to perfection and not smothered on bbq sauce so as to not take away from the flavour of the a actual brisket itself. The Mac and cheese was also very comforting and tasty.

Nice atmosphere, relaxed, friendly staff. The food is good, but there's one important thing I wanted to tell you: THERE'S TOO MUCH CUMIN (and maybe even fenugreek) in the BBQ sauce!!! Almost inedible.

Sean made me feel very welcome. When I struggled with mental health he helped me massively. He’s a credit to the bar.

As an American who lived in North Carolina, I am used to good barbecue. This was truly a surprise, with both the pulled pork and the brisket very well-cooked with a good flavor. The nachos were also quite good.

The potato salad, coleslaw, and potatoes were all delicious! However, the briskets were way overcooked, but well seasoned.

Very good BBQ restaurant and pub. We visited twice and were very satisfied both times. The service is fast and friendly, and you can always find a seat. However, I recommend making a reservation for large groups. The food is excellent; both the burgers and the regular BBQ are very good. The sides and sauces are also great. The brisket was my personal favorite. The prices are upper mid-range, but that's normal for BBQ. Definitely worth a visit.

Went today with my partner Very good food the beans, the ribs was amazing as well the pulled pork. Very tasty food with a good price : 2 meats + side for 27€ it's not bad at all for Dublin standards. Also the only waiter working serving people was very friendly polite and helpful.So service in general was top noch! I definitely will be back and I can recommend. I will try the chicken or the burger next time . Thanks
