Black Cat in Galway

Great little restaurant - I had the Black Cat pasta and it was fantastic. Lots of seafood and very fresh. I highly recommend it, our table also had the friendly farmer breast of chicken and the fish and chips and all were really good. The prices are reasonable and portions are filling.

Consistently excellent food and wine and helpful and informed wait staff!

Booked on line small, friendly, very nice dinner in dining room. Close to beach. No parking. Parking local parking lot short walk. With warning floods at high tide. Tide was out.

Really incredible tapas here, we got the tempura, patatas bravas, chicken liver parfait and the koftas. Crème Brûlée after. The atmosphere is lovely, service was exceptional and the food was so good!

Booked restaurant for a birthday celebration. We brought a homemade cake to the restaurant. There are dietary requirements in the family so the cake was both vegan and gluten free. We were informed that under no circumstances would they serve the cake or even allow us to serve ourselves while in restaurant. A free dessert was served to the birthday 'girl' later but it couldn't compensate for the negative feeling generated by the refusal to allow us to celebrate as planned. Overall a disappointing experience.

Beautiful cosy rooms 2 minutes walk from the seafront. Extremely friendly staff! Given a key to come and go as you please. Great value for the quality.

I spent a night there.. It was amazing tiny room. Very clean and had everything I needed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I had Seafood Chowder for my dinner from their Tapas restaurant and that was also delicious.
