Black Forge Inn in Dublin

The legendary McGregor pub, what am I going to say? Good food, great drinks, incredible decor, and a very nice doorman.

Met a few people before heading into the city, ended up staying there. Great pub with good service and many characters. Don't let the Conor McGregor (hate speech/vibe) deter you. ( He's not pulling your pint! ) An Irish Pub with Irish punters and great craic. Be civil, ask anything (especially house rules!) and you'll be well taken care of.

Stopped by The Black Forge Inn for dinner the other night because my husband is a huge Conor McGregor fan, and we were blown away. The restaurant is absolutely stunning inside, with beautiful décor, a talented live musician, and a mouthwatering menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. They also brew their own stout and lager. I am not a drinker, but my husband tried both and loved them. We even bought a pint glass to take home as a souvenir. Our server Ricardo was fantastic. He was so attentive, friendly, and personable. We truly had the best time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. The cherry on top was getting to see McGregor’s championship belt at the end of our meal and even taking photos with it. Such a cool and memorable touch.

We travelled from cork to Dublin to try out the food from the main man and it was well worth the spin, got there 1hr and they facilitated us as soon as, was quiet when we sat down but then starting picking up, love the decor and music playing, staff was so helpfully and polite I will be back to ye when we are back to Dublin from our cruise, this place is 💯 a please to eat, swing of proper 12 neat 👌 that pic doesn't do the food justice it's was savage boi

Good food, great ambience, friendly staff. Unfortunately Mr Conor himself wasn’t around, but we had a good time and took photos with the UFC belt!

Im sorry if people dont like this,the post recently keeps getting flagged and every attempt I make fails. Im delighted to say a year on its STILL 5 star,based on food,overall service presentation, flavour and most importantly food quality This place is a masterclass in hospitality. From front-of-house manager Liam Flynn, to the outstanding leadership team under Barry Cassidy, and GM Killian the run a tight ship and huge floor team over 40 on shift who don’t miss a beat — the service is flawless. And then there’s Chef Ed Raethorn — delivering culinary excellence that matches the service step for step. Truly above and beyond in every way. Highly recommended.
