I popped into here on one of those crazy weather days in Dublin - sunny with bouts of rain. Jefferson was absolutely delightful and seat me out the back with a heater above me. I had bruschetta and two glasses of wine. Iโ€™ve lived in Dublin my whole life and had never been here. Staff were so lovely too. Really makes a place. Will be back.

Attended a family wedding here and it was a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, the service was seamless and unobtrusive, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

Went with some pals on 28/12/2025 and we had a great evening! The food was lovely. I had the beef cheek pie and my friends had the fajitas and bruschettas etc... all gorgeous and only empty plates sent back.....and the cocktails (Mango espresso martini's, regular espresso martini's etc) were moreish! Our (very patient) waitress, Jennifer was lovely, nothing was too much of a problem and we had the craic with her throughout the evening. We ascertained our table wasn't booked after us for a later sitting so we stayed for a good long while, enjoying the atmosphere, catching up and drinking copious amounts of cocktails, we'll definitely be back!

06/04/2026: Very good pub, pretty good value for the prices in the area. I don't understand how it's empty; we've been two days and it's empty, and it's right next to Temple Bar. Update to the owner's response: Well, I was there today around 2 pm and the day before yesterday at about the same time. The other day 45 people came in, and today too, but it seems strange to me because the place is very nice, I like it a lot, the service is excellent, everything is perfect. But it's true that if you go down a little further, it's packed, and I don't understand how people can be crammed into one place and this place is practically empty. Maybe it just happened to coincide with my visit, but it really does seem strange to me. 4 people, not 45, sorry. I understand it must be the time of day.
