Black Forge Inn in Dublin

My girlfriend and I had such a great experience at Connor's pub! The food was amazing and very fairly priced. Delicious and big portions! The best steak I had in Dublin. The staff is also excellent. I want to give a shout out to the doorman Marco, he was very kind answering the questions my girlfriend and I had in regards to the pub. He even took photos of us and posed us perfectly in front of the pub! Thanks again Marco!

Vitor was fun, engaging and made delicious drinks for our table. The food was delicious and the atmosphere fun without being over the top. All of the staff was friendly and responsive. Was allowed to take pictures of Conners belt.

Had an amazing experience at The Black Forge Inn! The steak was absolutely delicious – cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, but what really stood out was the incredible staff. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel so comfortable from start to finish. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommended!

We came for lunch and had a wonderful experience. We did not have a reservation and the staff was so kind in seating us, and just wonderful during our whole experience. The wings were especially amazing!

I ordered chiken burger, but got double beef burger. Bit expensive. The onle one reason to visit was to see the belt. Never more...

Honestly the best place I’ve ever eaten!! The service, ambiance, comfort of seating, layout, food and drinks all amazing. I live in London and it’s completely outshone even the most high end restaurants here. Each food dish was delicious and left me wanting more and the cocktails and the stout was so nice and also very generous in size. I went with my gf and even got pics with the belt really was a quality experience and can’t wait to return when I head back to Ireland.

The steak at Black Forge Inn was excellent—cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavour. You can tell it’s quality meat, seasoned well and served in a generous portion. Definitely a standout dish and worth going back for.

I recently dined at Black Forge Inn and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The standout for me was definitely the staff — they were absolutely spectacular, incredibly attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well looked after. The food itself was good and very filling. The steak was the highlight — cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. That said, I wasn’t a big fan of the potatoes or mash, which didn’t quite hit the mark for me. One unique aspect is that the steaks (€44 each) are served on a hot stone for you to cook yourself. While it’s an interesting experience, I’m not sure it justified the price. The steak does come with mash or chips, onion rings, and peppercorn sauce, which adds value, but overall I still felt it was slightly overpriced. The starters were also tasty, though a bit on the expensive side considering the portion sizes. All in all, the food was satisfying and filling, and the incredible service really elevated the experience. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because of the price point, but I’d still recommend it for the atmosphere and top-tier staff. Great touch is that you are able to see and hold McGregors belt and have photos.

Probably the best food we had in dublin. The staff were so nice very friendly. Honestly cant fault it for anything. I would definitely go back.
