Blarney Woollen Mills in Bunratty

16/08/2026: A lively place with a really warm and friendly atmosphere. It honestly feels like one big family. You can hear people chatting and telling stories around you, with families of all ages enjoying their food and the atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly. The lamb stew was fantastic, with delicious ingredients and very fresh, tender meat. The beef burger was also really good, juicy, with fresh and crispy fries on the side. We also tried the sticky toffee pudding, which was delicious. Overall, a lovely place with great food and a genuine local atmosphere. Definitely recommended for the quality of the food and the experience.

16/08/2026: I will remember for a long time the island of delicious mashed potatoes immersed in a lake of lamb stew. 😋 My sister was thrilled to find a fresh salad on the menu. Service was quite friendly -- though I think our waitress was a bit worried that I left so much of the dessert. (Apologies - but my stomach was already stuffed with potatoes.) The live Irish music was good craic. Seemed quite crowded with locals, which is typically a good sign. The restaurant has its own parking lot, which is convenient.
