Bombay Bistro, Balbriggan in Balbriggan

1000 stars! Enjoyed a lovely meal at Bombay Bistro this evening. Everything fresh and accommodating of dietary requirements. Will be going back soon.

We stumbled on this place on our first night in Ireland and we were tired and incredibly hungry. Balbriggan did not offer a lot of dinner options, so we decided to give this one a try. We are so glad we did! We started with a mixed bhaji appetizer and they also gave us a basket of papadam as well as a trio of little chutneys and sauces that were delicious on both. We decided to share an entree with rice and naan, so we asked for recommendations on the best lamb dish on the menu. And oh my gosh, we were so happy with his choice! We had lamb bhuma, A dish we had never had before and we both fell in love with it. The flavors were really rich and complex and the meat was absolutely tender and perfect. It came with really delicious basmati rice and we had the coriander naan which was to die for. The price was reasonable too. I would have posted photos, but we were so hungry that I just dove in and forgot LOL.

The most Authentic Indian around

Outstanding Indian food, super nice people too. We tried the Mix Bhajia to start, and then I had the Ghost Rogan Josh it was excellent!! A great value for the money, give it a try. Side sauces were fantastic.

Very generous portions, the quality of the food is excellent, the flavors are well balanced, impeccable service, probably the best Indian meal I have eaten so far! I highly recommend.

On a recent short stay in Balbriggan, we ventured to Bombay Bistro for dinner. We certainly were NOT disappointed! The welcome was warm and the resto is cosy. We had a variety of dishes one more delectable than the other - stuffed lamb bread, meat curry and a birani dish, a traditional apéritif drink, a glass of wine with the meal. It was quiet there but pick-up orders were constant and I detected the establishment does great business that way also. Despite our short stay, we returned with a guest that same week who was equally impressed. Will DEFINATILY be returning to Bombsy Bistro, Balbriggan on my next trip. For those who enjoy excellent Indian food, this restaurant is a MUST....Enjoy! Kate C - Switzerland.

Food was alright I expected better but still enjoyed it. However the service was amazing from Ella!!

This is 100% the best Indian restaurant in Balbriggan. The food is delicious and very consistent. The in house service is a beautiful experience. The staff are so friendly and helpful, great people. Both the delivery and in house preparation is so quick it make your head spin. Very affordable. I can't recommend enough. Get over here and order a peshawari naan. You won't be disappointed 💯

First time in Bombay bistro. Date night with my daughter who loves Indian food. It was absolutely fabulous. Service was quick and staff were extremely pleasant. I loved the ambience of the place. Well deserved 5 stars.
