Always really like this chipper, everything is always top notch. Just wish they’d done something about the southern fried chicken, really tough and tastes like it was just reheated in the microwave.

17/10/2024: 1st time visit. Went for a carvery. Hostess was on the ball spotting us in the crowded pub looking like lost puppies. Explained the layout and off we went. Great choice of food. Got the beef and it was like butter. Nice big portions too. I'd bathe in gravy so asked for a side order of it and chef happily accommodated. T'was a little bitter for my palate but hey-ho. Overall a great experience and would definitely go back.
