The Baltinglass Inn
Baltinglass
03/10/2026: Best bar I’ve ever been to, the service was unmatched, and I’ve been to a lot of Irish bars, like a lot a lot !!!! Not a single fault to report in this utopia of pints and shorts. Don’t even get me started on the Guinness!! Best pint I’ve had on the Emerald Isle. Will be back!
20/09/2026: Aideen has it well managed, was there on a Saturday night and there was live music which was brill, great craic, good service 😊

Hug a Mug Café
Baltinglass
02/10/2026: The older lady, very ignorant as if we where not welcome in the place, used the micro wave to cook everything, went here because we seen the reviews, customer service was shocking from her, the younger girl seemed nice and polite probably the only good thing about the place, paying for for food in a cafe and everything is cooked in the microwave.
22/09/2026: We were filming up the road and asked where was good to eat locally. Hug a Mug Cafe was immediately recommended. We went for the lunch options as it was early afternoon. Real tasty food and friendly staff. The place was getting busier and busier as we were there which is a great sign. Locals and tourists alike. Happy to recommend

Horans Bar & Restaurant
Baltinglass
07/08/2026: Lovely spot with lots of parking outside the front. Food was great, we got the curry, lasagna, Special half roast chicken and kids got children's meals. All delicious and empty plates. Also, it was my mums birthday and I asked could they put a candle in her dessert. Staff came out with decorated plate and sang Happy Birthday to her! Would highly recommend.
10/06/2026: Typical Irish pub atmosphere, very welcoming service, good traditional and homemade food. We recommend it!!
