ABSOLUTELY GREAT are the words that best describe “Hug a Mug Cafe’s” outstanding service, food, coffee, cakes and good cheer. As a tourist who has traveled all over Ireland and beyond, Hug a Mug Cafe ranks in my book as the friendliest and best place to enjoy a meal and a most wonderful atmosphere of welcome and hospitality. Another thing that makes them special is how welcoming they are to children. You won’t find a better place to be. It’s worth the drive (or stroll) - no matter how far. I look forward to a return visit with my family. The sooner the better.

The best chocolate brownie in Ireland!! Just perfect. The chicken wraps were great too , and finally found a pleasant cup of cappuccino that does not numb the tongue with bitterness. Great place , good ambiance in a rather laid back street off Wicklow (laidback compared to Dublin downtown). Highly recommend you stop here for a good bite .

Best Café in Wicklow for a lovely breakfast I had scrambled eggs,sausages and orange juice.As good as anywhere I've been in Dublin or Wicklow,and I've been to quite a few. Staff really nice and friendly also.I go there to treat myself when I'm around Highly recommended.And they do breakfast All Day

This place was AMAZING! We stopped in to be welcomed by two smiling faces! They were so gay friendly and welcoming! This is a MUST SEE if you are a queer individual! All is welcome here! :)

Absolutely love this little spot. Has to be hands down the best coffee in Baltinglass, from their salted caramel lattes or an oat milk cappuccino or even an iced coffee, they cant be beat. The staff are always so chatty and friendly and Danielle always has the best treats. Would highly recommend!!
