Botanic Gardens Cafe in Dublin

Stopped here after touring the gardens. The hot food option of turkey, ham and leak pie was fantastic! I was surprised by the large portions. When the friendly server asked, "Do you want everything?" He was not kidding! Roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, broccoli, green beans, carrots and turnips plus gravy. It was so much we had to take some home. Oh and the pot of tea netted 2.5 cups!

Tasty food in a great location.

Fantastic cafe place serving fresh cakes, fresh Irish carvery lunches on Sundays. It is based by the entry to Botanic Gardens in the main building, next to the information desk. It is a great place for an authentic Irish lunch on Sunday, always a great selection of lunch menue during the week. There is a paid car park to the left. It is easlily accessible with public transport. Enjoy 😊

Very good service here, it's simple, at noon it was almost fully packed, still the personnel is super friendly and cares continuously that each client is treated well and the place stays clean. The food portions are generous for their price. And it has been a perfectly fitting lunch along with the park visit before we have headed to the airport. Thank you very much!

We have been many times for a coffee and snack before walking around the garden but today we went for lunch as it was my partners birthday and I had the brisket dinner and it was superb I haven't had a better dinner in years so tender the beef melted in my mouth, my heart felt compliments to the chef.

A very very busy cafe, friendly staff, prices reasonable, good menu, if your visiting the botanic gardens the cafe is worth a visit to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Revisited recently, magnificent gardens, terrific relaxing cafe, excellent staff and facilities. Both worth a visit.

The Botanic Gardens are a fantastic place to visit. Admittance is free of charge. A big favourite of mine are the Turner Conservatories, they are stocked with some of the most beautiful plants I have seen. There is a Walled Garden where a wide variety of vegetables are grown. Everything here is organic. On the day I visited there were heavy showers, but here it was not a problem, because you could plan your activities indoors and outdoors as the weather dictated. There is a restaurant on site with a nice outlook over the Gardens. The Botanic Gardens are family and child friendly. I admire the people who work here, particularly the gardeners, they do an incredible job and are very open to answering your questions. I highly recommend the Botanic Gardens for a visit, allow plenty of time for your visit to do the place justice....
