Kyodai Izakaya in Dublin

The food is good but expensive. The portions used to be massive but recently they have been getting smaller and smaller which is disappointing for the same price. The atmosphere is nice but not suited for big groups. I came with 21 people and the seating was incredibly awkward with no space to get out and a pillar in the middle. The menu was very traditional Japanese.

Had a really enjoyable meal at Kyodai on Eden Quay! The sushi was really good and fresh. The ramen was decent, though it didn't quite hit the same high standard as the sushi rolls. The restaurant has a nice, lively vibe to it. The service was standout—very good, quick, and attentive throughout our meal. Overall, it's a great spot in the city center and I definitely recommend checking them out!

One of the best places in Dublin. It is easy to miss from the outside, but once you enter, it feels like being teleported to Japan. We came here for a late lunch without a reservation and the food was amazing! From Takoyaki to Sushi and Sashimi everything was delicious. Dishes were prepared beautifully - it was a delight for all senses. Would definitely come again!

Amazing food. One of two best Japanese restaurants in Dublin. Best prawn tempura roll I ever eaten, so good sushi. Also the atmosphere and service have been very nice. Restaurant is a bit hard to find but it's a hidden gem. Definitely worth it

STUNNING food. Got the chefs selection of sushi tacos and it was divine. So light, filling, and flavoursome. Such a unique idea of a dish perfected. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I’m a repeat customer to this place. The food is always really good and full of flavour and they serve plum wine which is lovely. Vibe is good too. Would recommend!

A lovely and quiet place where you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. There is plenty of choice and the food is very tasty. The dishes are served quickly and the staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome immediately. The good service makes it complete. Definitely a place to come back to!

Thank you so much for a lovely evening, this was my third time there and I really love it. The food is always excellent and the service is brilliant. We’d been there before for my mother’s birthday but had to leave a bit early to get to a play in the Abbey. They actually texted afterwards to apologise for forgetting the birthday cake, which we hadn’t even been expecting and wasn’t a problem at all. What was so nice is they remembered us on this visit and brought it then. Such a thoughtful touch. A really special place with genuinely friendly staff. We’ll definitely be back.

presentation was beautiful, sashimi could have been fresher though, I eat a lot of salmon sashimi and the quality here wasn’t the best, if i’m being honest, servers were really attentive and great though, always checking to see if we had water etc., and they had a great selection of cocktails!
