Great bar and drinks. Padraig and the staff were great. Great old bar vibe to the front with a lovely garden area to the rear.

We had our daughters Christening here for 35 ppl. Margaret who helped organise was very good throughout, Mike, the manager and Aisling on the day were very helpful if we needed anything. Food was very nice. Highly recommend this venue for any purpose.

We celebrated a family reunion at Bradshaw’s, and it was magical! The staff made sure every detail was perfect and were SO welcoming! Bradshaw’s is ideal for special occasions. The function rooms are well laid out, we loved the traditional decor, and the attentive service by Margaret and her team, turned our evening into an unforgettable memory for us. Thank you all so much x

Celebrated my 60th at Bradshaws. Looked after us really well. Did the decorations, we had 2 different food options - they were all eaten in double quick time. Dj provided a great soundtrack. Great atmosphere. Everyone left happy. 😀

09/03/2026: Old world charm I had lunch there . Sunday afternoon busy staff were super friendly and service was fast and food was delicious.After words had a walk on the ground very scenic and relaxing play area for children.
06/03/2026: We had our wedding at Castle Oaks House Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Trish and her team made the entire day run so smoothly and were incredibly accommodating from start to finish. Their calm professionalism meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. We’re still being told by our guests how lovely the food was, which says a lot about the quality and care the team put into the day. Castle Oaks is a fantastic venue if you’re looking for a relaxed, fun wedding atmosphere while still feeling really well looked after. We’d highly recommend it to any couple planning their special day.

Bamboo Garden, menu

22/11/2025: Nice food, reasonable value We sat in for this meal and were put in the back with just ourselves and a little kid (one of the family I imagine) doing his homework - nothing wrong with that, but a little background music would have added a bit of atmosphere. But that's just the minor criticism, the food was excellent and we're glad we found this place. Seeing as options are limited in Castleconnell this is a good gem to find. If in the area again I would gladly return.
