Sharpest bar staff in West Cork. Young girl tried to pass sisters ID off as her own. Not only did barmaid recognise it but knew family, knew when she was actually born.... was half expecting her to know the nameof the midwife who delivered her... Could easily have asked her to leave on her own and served friends but asked all of them to leave so that the girl who had to leave was not left alone. Hats off to that!!

Nice pub across from the Munster Arms Hotel had a good crowd. Has the standard fare of beers and ciders, with a small selection wines and nothing in the way of craft beers.

29/11/2023: I had a pleasurable experience in this cafe. The mark of a place really is whether you'd return, and I certainly would. I enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly. The tea was nice. The cost was very reasonable. No fancy frills but for sure it's a good spot a nice breakfast. Plenty of table space too.
01/08/2023: Ate here with my daughter today. We both had lasagne fries and salad. Everything was 10/10. Lasagne was absolutely delicious. Will be back.
