Brasserie on the Corner in Galway

Excellent place! The fish and chips were simply exceptional and the pudding was delicious. The service was pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is very popular, so it's best to book in advance to avoid a wait.

We visited Galway last Sunday from Killarney. After 2-3 attempts to find a restaurant for dinner, we ended up here. It was very crowded and we waited 40 minutes. Trust me, the wait was WORTH it. After 7 years in Ireland I can say we had great food! Everything was great, food, cocktails, service... I recommend it 100% and we will definitely visit again. Thank you very much for the pleasure you gave us 😁

Incredible food and great service! Had a day trip to Galway, this place was highly recommended to us, and it exceeded our expectations! The berry creme brulee was the best I had in Ireland!

Enjoyed our time at this restaurant. Ordered off the daily special menu. Fish was tasty. Pork was flavorful. Pudding and creme brulee were yummy. Staff suggested items to eat. I would go back again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here! Did not have a reso and they quoted us a 45 min wait but we were able to get seated in 15 which was nice. The seafood chowder - excellent. The mussels were plentiful- it came as a giant bowl of like at least 60 small mussels. The halibut - fresh as all heck. Fish and chips - the fish was crispy to perfection on outside and just soft fresh goodness on the inside. Our server Caitlin was very lovely! Highly recommend for anyone in Galway.

We had a very good meal here during our stop in Galway. The service was super friendly. Prices were rather high, but the quality was very good and the portions were relatively large – therefore absolutely reasonable.

Beautiful setting, quiet, polite, delicious. "The Guinness and wine are excellent. My granddaughter and I had a wonderful birthday celebration. No one disturbed us with loud conversations and laughter. A few days later, I visited this place again and enjoyed my favorite chowder."
