We were very pleased with the friendly service and our food.
The cosiness invited you to linger.
Since the restaurant was full, the background noise was correspondingly high, which made conversation difficult.

Experience of 10, they had recommended it to us and they were not wrong, we tried typical food from the area and everything was very good, special mention to the seafood chowder, roast beef and lemon tart.
The waiters were very friendly and helpful, always asking if everything was to our liking.
100% recommended if you visit Galway.

The Brasserie on the Corner is a gem. Even with all the great restaurants in Galway, we consider ourselves lucky to have eaten there twice over St Patrick's weekend. And, as we've noticed with all the restaurants we've stopped at, the decor is beautifully unique (one of the coolest bars I've ever seen!) and the Brasserie is no different.
The first time we stopped at the Brasserie was for a late breakfast after our bus had arrived in Galway. My wife had a 'mini' Irish breakfast, which was probably big enough for two, and I had the French toast. Both meals were outstanding.
The second time we stopped for dinner and enjoyed the experience immensely. On the servers suggestion, we got a whisky flight and shared mussels in a white wine sauce for an appetizer. We were amazed there were at least 50 mussels in the bowl! For dinner, my wife had the seafood chowder (every restaurant puts their spin on this Irish staple so it's worth trying!) and I had the roast shoulder of lamb with peas and potatoes. We finished dinner off with a caramel sticky bun with ice cream. Delicious!
The Brasserie on the Corner is a wonderful eatery. I'm sure if we'd stayed more than 3 days in Galway, we'd have eaten there again. Enjoy!

The seafood chowder is good enough to convert me to a foodie (it was amazing!). The daily special casserole was also delicious. The Guiness went down well with both, and the staff were accommodating to my slightly rushed requirements.
Well worth the time.

Food was pretty good but portions were very small for what you pay and we left and went to McDonald’s after.

The food was good and the staff were very helpful. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but once we were seated, everything seemed to go at a good pace. A little on the pricier side in my opinion, but I would recommend eating here.
