We had breakfast twice in this lovely café, found by chance near our hostel. The place is very welcoming, full of natural light, decorated with pastel colors that highlight the brightness even more. The breakfast menu is excellent, we tried both the croissants, French style, and the scones really excellent; a special mention for the cappuccino, really excellent and comparable to the Italian one. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!!

This is my local, go-to coffee shop. I can’t say enough good things about it. The coffee is rich and dark—never burnt or over-roasted beans. Best Americano in Galway, imo. The cafe is always immaculate, well-stocked with lunch bites and treats, but the main draw for me are the staff. Every single one of them is warm, kind and professional. They remember my drink! That’s something I’ve always dreamed about lol. It’s such a great feeling to go somewhere and feel seen and I’ve witnessed the staff at Brazco recall regulars’ drink orders every day (I’m there a lot!). It’s a great place to work on your laptop (free wifi), read a book, or stare out the window and watch the rain fall on busy St Francis Street. The manager (I think she’s the manager, she has boss energy) is so nice and takes her job seriously. As a (former) career waiter, I recognize that it’s real easy to be burnt out in the service biz—somehow she seems to be very chill and zen. Go here and support this local shop!
