Bread 41 in Dublin

I traveled the world for great pastries and you are among the best. It is your fault I have gained 10lbs in Dublin, Ireland even when I am walking 7 miles a day. I was cursed when I found out you were only 2 stores down from the hotel I am staying at. Greatest curse of all time. You are a blessing to this world. My wife loves your potato danish. The cruffin is delicious so is your sausage roll. The star of the show is the bread budding. It literally weighs 5lbs and comes with a small bottle of ambrosia (custard cream) that you can pour over it. It is amazing and probably one of the best desserts I had of all time. You share this mantle with a 12 layer parfait (made of exquisite seasonal vegetables and fruits-mostly squashes and yams) in Japan topped with a gold leaf chocolate. PS I love you. Be you forever.

So excited to go here and happy I did. Bought a loaf of sourdough, which is absolutely amazing. Crusty on the outside light and airy on the inside with the right amount of sour dough flavor. I was, however, very disappointed in my almond croissant, which was not flaky or moist, but hard. I Rarely let myself splurge on some things decadent as a croissant, and I figured this was the place to do it so I’m kind of bummed. But I will go back for more bread tomorrow

An excellent bakery for breakfast in Dublin; we stumbled upon it almost by accident after seeing a video on Instagram. The products are excellent, both in appearance and taste. We found a small line, which we weren't expecting, which made us realize we were somewhere familiar. The service was a bit chaotic, as was the atmosphere; the bathroom (in the middle of the room) was neither clean nor quiet. All in all, a great place to sample quality baked goods. P.S. Honorable mention also for the savory items.

Amazing bakery! Freshly baked every day with pain au chocolat being my personal favourite. Great service, dog friendly & discounted coffees with reusable cups. Only negative is that they don't have a store closer to Ranelagh/Rathmines.

Bakery strepitosa, enorme varietà di prodotti sia dolci che salati e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Tra i vari dolci ho provato il pain au chocolat e mi ha conquistata, estremamente gustoso e, difficile a credersi, anche molto digeribile! Buone anche le bevande, unico aspetto negativo il prezzo abbastanza stellare ma pienamente nella media di Dublino.

Visited new location in Cabinteely last Sunday. Amazing pastries and coffee. Staff were so helpful and lovely even though the place was very busy.
