Worth the wait in line. The bread loaves were just ok (I found them to be a little dry and not as crusty as I like) but the chocolate croissant was superb and the espresso was top notch. Plus all the staff are super friendly

Good but not superb. The cappuccino was good and the croissant dough was good, but the filling was a bit bland... without any strong flavors. For the high price, I expected more.

Best pastry in Dublin (and Ireland?!) by a mile, I could go again and again to try the whole menu. The order system is disastrous though and would put me off going back. Last time I was there, 20 minute wait because there’s only one person taking orders for pastry and coffee (who was in absolutely no rush to serve people queuing around the corner) and one person making coffee. 4 or 5 other staff wandering around the place trying to look busy. Atmosphere - dark, very loud, not the comfiest, and often hard to get a seat. Pity the upstairs is closed as I heard the food was amazing while it was open but, could consider opening it either way? Coffee is usually hit and miss - sometimes it’s great sometimes it’s meh. Plus points for being a B corp. Well done for that 🙏

This is a special place we found a couple of weeks ago and visited again today. They serve delicious coffee drinks, and we had a flat white. Also, we chose to eat here because we have issues with gluten, and but all the bread they use is prepared with slow fermentation which doesn't seem to affect us like regular gluten pastries. We have enjoyed multiple pastries over our visits including the Morning Bun, Almond Croissant, Cruffin Sausage Roll, and Onion & Cheese Savory roll.
They do serve brunch and there is plenty of seating available. However, if you plan to take your coffee for carry out, be sure to bring your own mug or you can purchase a reusable coffee cup from them since they don't stock throw away cups since they are very green. Today we chose to drink our flat whites in their mugs and carry out our delicious pastries. But if you have the time dine in.

There is a line out the door every day for good reason. The pastries are top-notch, particularly the cinnamon scroll and cheese&onion tartlet. I recommend getting there earlier rather than later as they will likely sell out of at least a few items. There’s a decent number of tables but due to just the sheer number of customers in line it can the difficult to get a seat. Lovely atmosphere, you can really taste the care they put into all the fresh-baked goods.

There's a reason this place is queued out the door and round the corner. A delicious selection of bakes!

I have been to this place a few times in the last few years. Here is my opinion:
Food is good. Croissants are nice (specially the plain one, the almond one is too heavy, you can skip lunch with one of those). Other pastries are nice as well.
Staff is close to be horrible. This is not Bread 41, it's a national issue here in Ireland. They put students or very young people in front of customers (which is good for the country but bad for customers satisfaction) and they mess up. A couple of examples: I don't drink coffee, so I order a cup of milk. Their reasoning is since it doesn't have coffee, they put just half of the cup of milk. Really? Milk? In Ireland? For a 2 or 3 cup of milk and you only put half? Second example is if you order more than one pastry at the same time the forget about the second one hahaha. Crazy. They have 5-6 people working there, and 2 are lost not attending the customers. Don't you see you have a 20 min line. Is it that different to ask who is next instead of being walking around not knowing where to go. I feel this can be run by 3 efficient staff members. It's not that difficult.
