Brooklyn Cafe in Tramore

Aesthetically pleasing restaurant, beautiful colors, very close to the sea, etc. But they have a serious problem with the preparation times... they're slow, both in serving and preparing the dishes. Good food, good fish and chips, especially the one cooked with Guinness, except for the carbonara, which, as an Italian, I dare say wasn't true carbonara, but rather an interpretation of carbonara. I strongly recommend training the staff to be quicker, as waiting an hour just for a drink, with only a few customers seated, is not normal. Otherwise, they're super friendly, and the menus are very clear regarding allergies. Recommended for those with a lot of time on their hands.

I'm coeliac and it's a long time since I've seen a menu as 'inclusive' as that in Brooklyn. So much available gluten free and what I had was just delicious.

We visited brooklyn restaurant today, The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely 💯 👌 I ordered the chicken supreme it was absolutely amazing 💯 My partner ordered the beef cheeks he said it was amazing also well cooked I would recommend this restaurant to anyone

Edited.. 2nd time to go, family of 5. 4 tables of 4 free and 1 table of 2 free, but the head guy wouldn't let us split up to sit indoors. So I am not impressed. We went elsewhere. Lovely food. Recommend 🙏💯 A nice change from the usual chipper food. We had lasagne, burger, soup, pasta and chips.

Beautiful view of the beach, friendly service, and the food was fantastic. We had king prawns and mussels in a white wine cream sauce as a starter, and fish and chips as a main course. It tasted absolutely delicious, so we highly recommend it.

We had lunch here and, to be honest, there are better places around. For starters, we had the mussels and the king prawns, and for the main we ordered the Florentina pizza. The location is quite nice, right by the beach with lovely sea views, but the food was fairly average. The pizza sauce lacked flavour, and there was so much cheese that it completely overpowered the rest of the pizza. The mussels were actually quite good. The biggest disappointment was the garlic bread. Honestly, even the garlic bread from Aldi would probably have tasted better. The service, however, was very good.

Excellent food, Friendly staff and wonderful sea view! Sometimes it's just perfect, best value in Munster!
