Brown Morel in Newcastle west

We ate here for the first time today and we were delighted with our food. Excellent quality and price. Our waitress was nice but couldn’t muster a smile, maybe she was having a bad day?? Nevertheless we’ll definitely eat here again

A surprising restaurant, on our way back from Dingle to Limerick. Well furnitured, a cozy restaurant and good service - but above all: star-like dinner! The wild boor and venison ragout was really good, just as the dessert and even unordered pre-starter with homemade sourdough bread and delicious really tasteful mushroom soup. Do not pass this one!

Lovely place to dine if you’re passing by or on holiday. Most of the food was great. They have an outside area but wouldn’t recommend to sit out if the sun is strong. The staff that served us was professional and helpful!

Had a great meal at Brown Morrel. The food was very good, and we opted for the specials, which were excellent and generously portioned. What surprised us most was how kid-friendly the pub was. Dining out with young children can sometimes be challenging, but the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, making it an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Great food, good portions, and a family-friendly environment—we'll definitely be back.

Just the complimentary itself make me wanted more, the food was delicious and the service was great.

We had scallops, chicken, duck and rack of lamb. All cooked perfectly with delicious sauces. Plenty of gluten free options. Hidden gem.
