Brown Morel in Newcastle west

An ideal stop on the road from limerick to kerry. Tasty food, good value and very pleasant service in a comfortable setting.

My family and I had a great experience at The Brown Morel. The building is very well maintained and has that feeling of stepping into a preserved piece of time. It was very clean, service was really good, the food was solid, and the wait time was minimal. Mares was my server My wife and son both had the fish and chips. My son gave it two thumbs up, and my wife thought it was really good and well presented. My daughter had the seafood chowder and said it was really good. I had the double captain—it had some heat to it, but it was really good. I’d recommend this place to any traveler. We saw both locals and tourists here, and it had a great atmosphere. The rest of the restaurant had a bit of a magical feel to it. When you pay just go to the counter.

Excellent restaurant in Newcastle West

12 of us were at Brown Morel today for my dad's 90th birthday. Fantastic food and service, wide variety of menu options and excellent value, we were very impressed and can highly recommend this restaurant. Well done Brown Morel and keep up the good work :)

On our way home from Killarney, we saw this lovely restaurant and asked for a table. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. The food surprised us. Good value for money.

Wow, what a wonderful meal after a long day of driving. We loved the attentive service and three-course option. Everything was scrumptious from the pear chicken salad to the wonderful sole fish. Dessert was excellent as well. I highly recommend eating here. Quiet and nice.
