The Silver Room Restaurant

14/11/2025: My wife and I travel to Ireland twice each year. For the last eight years we have made it a mission to get to the Silver Room at least once each visit - usually we get there more than once. We have been a party of 2 and have brought as many as 6 others with us. Everyone in our party has always been happy with our meals and our experience. The food is exceptional, Black Pudding Eggrolls and Crispy Duck simply delicious, and the Eton Mess is the best. The Surf and Turf special was excellent, so make sure to hear about the daily specials. Maciej and Wojtek make you feel very welcome. Will definitely be back.
11/11/2025: Always a nice place for lunch or dinner, very popular with locals. Pleasant space, decent food and excellent staff

29/03/2026: Literally couldn't recommend this place enough. I booked in for three night but unfortunately due to zn accident at work I only stayed one night. When the staff found out zbout the accident they couldn't do enough for me. They really went above and beyond to assist me. I would recommend to znybody and I look forward to staying there in the future.

31/07/2025: Clearys is a great craic. Local music act come thru regularly. Staff is top notch and welcoming. Bring your own food, not a bother.
The live music from time to time is great. Look em up on social media to see who is coming and for schedules. You’ll not regret it.
Come have a fine pint.

28/05/2025: The service was absolutely lovely, and the coffee well made and very reasonably priced!
The furniture was nice, there are a lot of tables and chairs, I’m tempted to say too many, it can look a little overwhelming but on the weekends they might be packed.
The decor is traditional- quirky, they have vases and signs placed a bit randomly around the place.
A few nice unique paintings would have a significant effect on the atmosphere, I think.
Worth checking out regardless!

04/04/2026: My family and I had a great experience at The Brown Morel. The building is very well maintained and has that feeling of stepping into a preserved piece of time. It was very clean, service was really good, the food was solid, and the wait time was minimal.
Mares was my server
My wife and son both had the fish and chips. My son gave it two thumbs up, and my wife thought it was really good and well presented.
My daughter had the seafood chowder and said it was really good.
I had the double captain—it had some heat to it, but it was really good.
I’d recommend this place to any traveler. We saw both locals and tourists here, and it had a great atmosphere. The rest of the restaurant had a bit of a magical feel to it. When you pay just go to the counter.
