Popped in on the way back to our hotel. Fabulous service, great open four with real peat turf!!

If you happen to stumble upon this pub, just go, it’s beautiful in every way. The landlord was so hospitable, friendly and welcoming and we didn’t want to leave. Enjoy every moment and thank you to all those we met in there. We shall be back (and thank you for the turf 😜)

One of the friendliest bars I have ever been to. The landlord was so friendly I didn’t want to leave. He gave us some Irish turf and told me all about how he harvested it , which for an English person was fascinating. If you are ever in the area pop in - fabulous friendly service, friendly people in the bar , roaring fire and a superb pint of Guinness. Cannot wait to go back next time I’m in the area. Worth an extra stop for.

I am from Canada and Stumbling into this pub as one of the happiest accidents to date. I cannot say enough good things about the friendly people from Patrick to Martin (Barman extraordinaire) to all of the great locals who were soooo welcoming. If you read this review then just go there. Have a pint and meet some of the nicest people in Ireland.

Best pint of Guinness in NCW… dare I say Ireland! The staff are all so friendly - they really made me feel at home :) can’t recommend enough 🍻😊
