Huge shop since renovation great choice of provisions.... Its a pity their delivery service needs a Lot of attention waited 5 hours last week for delivery, and today also waiting 5 hours you would expect this at Christmas its beyond a joke. Be careful crossing entrance into shop vehicles think they have the right to drive out on to road while crossing the foothpath to get to the road. Complained many times.... nothing done....

I was there yesterday looking for a made up Salad Nothing there Very disappointed with store It seemed very tossed up Listowel has beautiful selection of salads and made up meals Your store was lovely when first opened but not any more Staff very good

04/04/2026: My family and I had a great experience at The Brown Morel. The building is very well maintained and has that feeling of stepping into a preserved piece of time. It was very clean, service was really good, the food was solid, and the wait time was minimal. Mares was my server My wife and son both had the fish and chips. My son gave it two thumbs up, and my wife thought it was really good and well presented. My daughter had the seafood chowder and said it was really good. I had the double captain—it had some heat to it, but it was really good. I’d recommend this place to any traveler. We saw both locals and tourists here, and it had a great atmosphere. The rest of the restaurant had a bit of a magical feel to it. When you pay just go to the counter.

28/05/2025: The service was absolutely lovely, and the coffee well made and very reasonably priced! The furniture was nice, there are a lot of tables and chairs, I’m tempted to say too many, it can look a little overwhelming but on the weekends they might be packed. The decor is traditional- quirky, they have vases and signs placed a bit randomly around the place. A few nice unique paintings would have a significant effect on the atmosphere, I think. Worth checking out regardless!
