Longcourt House Hotel in Newcastle west

Hotel very well located between Dublin and Killarney National Park. Parking right in front. Welcoming and friendly staff. Spacious and very clean room. Excellent and generous breakfast.

Literally couldn't recommend this place enough. I booked in for three night but unfortunately due to zn accident at work I only stayed one night. When the staff found out zbout the accident they couldn't do enough for me. They really went above and beyond to assist me. I would recommend to znybody and I look forward to staying there in the future.

I called in for a quick spot of lunch as I was working in the area on this occasion. There is plenty of parking ,there's security on the doors and watching the car park, access is easy also for wheelchair users ,the dining area is spacious and relaxed. The staff are courteous professional and on point ,the menu has a good variety and is not too badly priced.I did enjoy what I had The toilets are clean and functional ,I wasn't staying so can't comment on the accommodation . A positive experience all round.

If you enjoy a 4-star hotel in 100 degree heat, this is the place for you! The rooms are lovely, but the heating is set to "swelter" with no way to turn it down. The staff are generally excellent, reception and restaurant staff were amazing. Shoutout to the lovely barman with the earrings but the rest of the bar team could use a lesson in manners. I spent five minutes being ignored by staff who were busy chatting or cleaning glasses. Food-wise: the veggie breakfast was a nice "off-menu" win, but the poached eggs were like golf balls and the croissants were unfortunately soggy. A great stay that could be perfect with a lower thermostat and a more attentive bar crew.
