Clearys Bar in Newcastle west

Fantastic pub, very helpful & friendly staff. It's the kind of bar that you walk in a stranger & leave a friend. You can choose to have a quiet drink & some food or chat to the staff & locals. We've held a few birthday parties in their beer garden which is amazing, they organised the food for us at very reasonable prices. Their window sessions are always brilliant, they bring amazing talent to the town - Fun Loving Criminals, Mary Coughlan, Aslan, as well as up & coming musicians & local musicians 🎤 🎶 They're continuously improving the premises & have turned it into a fantastic spot for music lovers. Kudos to owners Seamus & Brenda, their manager Lisa & their staff, they never disappoint 🥂

Made a brief visit yesterday afternoon for a chat and catch up with Seamus and Brenda. Atmosphere in here was brilliant. Enjoyed our brief visit looking forward to seeing them again when we are down there again.
