Brownes in Dublin

Fantastic breakfast, brunch and lunch spot!! They’re menu is extensive and the food is delicious. Some items are a bit overpriced (like the orange juice) but overall not too bad. The pastries and cakes in the front case are very good. Whenever I have visitors, I bring them here!

At home I make homemade tomato soup and my other house occupants rate same. Yesterday I cycled from home to Malahide and back (72km). On my way back home thru Sandymount I was in need of some good sustenance. I called into Brownes, a pleasant place. I asked "do you have any soup today?" And the answer was a positive "yes, we have nice tomato and basil soup". Well the soup was lovely and hot, in fact I reckon it was the best 🍅 and basil soup, I've eaten to date! Take a deserved bow Brownes' chef.

I have to admit that the 4.1 rating made me unsure about going. The restaurant was packed, and we were still greeted with a smile. We got a table within a few minutes. The server was quick and friendly. The sandwiches were top notch! Huge portions and perfectly assembled. Even the bread (delicious BTW) was perfectly toasted. Both sandwiches came with a small side of potato salad. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this might have been the best potato salad that I’ve ever had. My sandwich was too much to finish and they were happy to pack the rest for me to take home. We also had a slice of Carrot Cake to bring home (Delicious! 😋). I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! I look forward to going back again! Great job to everyone who works there! 👍

Overpriced breakfast.. BLT was stingey. Chopped up bacon fat, not one piece of actual bacon... Would have done a better job myself... Pot of tea with one teabag.. Like flavoured water... 2 years ago this place was lovely it's gone down hill massively.

It is a place divided into two, a breakfast area and a lunch and dinner area. We went to the first one. For the offer in the area it is not bad. The food is correct although the price is a little high.

Tuve una gran experiencia visitando este lugar cuando estuve en Dublín. La comida era deliciosa, y los precios eran bastante razonables.

Tomé una de las mejores hamburguesas que he comido. No recuerdo lo que comió mi familia, pero también disfrutaron de su comida. Nuestro servidor era amable y nos atendieron rápida y eficientemente. Encontré Browne's para ser un gran lugar para disfrutar del almuerzo!
