Brownes in Dublin

Nice place for lunch. Parking is tricky if you're not walking.

Easy to get to location close to a small yet busy area in Sandymount. A short bus ride from Ballsbridge and a walk got us here with ease. While sitting outside would have been nice with the weather, the tables are very small round tables that lean. Noticed some customers struggling to keep their little tables stable. Thankfully chose inside, which was also helpful during the 10 minute rain shower. Service was ok 6/10. While the staff was friendly and professional, it took a bit to get attention and the order was slightly off. The food was tasty. I had eggs, hashbrown, toast and bacon which even at a crispy request will not be crispy if you’re expecting bacon like you may be used to in the states. So be more specific if that’s what you’d like. Irish tea was great. Plenty of coffee options as well. The other meal was an eggs Benedict was was good. While the bacon once again seemed very underdone for “crispy”, the poached eggs were slightly over, hardly runny. Overall the location is clean and in a good location.

The café’s location makes it a convenient spot for locals and visitors alike. Overall, Brownes of Sandymount provides a pleasant dining experience with a varied menu and efficient service.

Once again I had high expectations, the food was disappointing and bad service. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Fab place with nice staff, delicious food and lots of gluten free options

Good food, pricey but I think that's me getting used to everything being more expensive than, say, one year ago. Really nice experience. Had a Niçoise salad, really wholesome and filling, plenty of it. Would definitely go back.

I always enjoy coming to Brownes. I prefer to sit outside. The employees are always very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended. See you soon.

Otra joyita con comida fabulosa. Entró a almorzar y se permitió una explosión de sabores jugosos. Fui por un trippleteador tostado. Absolutamente lo haría de nuevo y luego ir a dar un buen paseo por la playa cercana. Habitación delantera es más tranquilo 😉

Tuve una gran experiencia visitando este lugar cuando estuve en Dublín. La comida era deliciosa, y los precios eran bastante razonables.
