Brownes in Dublin

We had lunch here one Sunday when out for a walk. The food was lovely with the exception of the fries, which could have been crispier. The service was mostly good and the place was busy with a good atmosphere. On the negative side the coffee and hot chocolate arrived too early and were cold by the time our food arrived. The rustic apple pie we shared at the end was tasty but arrived cold and on its own even though they had said they would heat it up and serve it with cream. It was rectified for us quickly enough.

Great food for Sunday afternoon !

An old reliable cafe. Had breakfast on a Saturday morning. Good food, good staff, in the heart of Sandymount, on the green.

Visited today, the food was very good and fresh and the service was great, the staff was friendly and attentive.

Breakfast and service were excellent, the ambiance is simple.

Decent spot for a bit of lunch, nice cake selection. Tiles in the bathroom are fabulous 🤩

Just not as good as it used to be. The food is still pretty good but the service seems to have slipped a bit. Orders were messed up and there was a bit of a rush to get the table back even though it wasn't that busy and we hadn't finished.

Hard to get staff’s attention Coffee was less in quantity and ordinary in taste At the current price point, they should think about improving the food and how they can provide more value for money food. (Advice to the owner: try Cinnamon in Dublin)

La comida era deliciosa pero completamente caro. ¿Cómo pueden cobrar 21€ por huevos de setas de espinaca y medio aguacate. El personal era encantador y amable. El servicio era bueno. No volvería.
