The lads are really doing a great job. It’s slowly becoming one of the best pubs in the area. Great lounge area at the back for darts & jars. Music always great

Popped in during the week, there was a funny looking geezer playing some great sounds. Next time I'm over I will deffo pop back in.

Potentially one of the best pubs in dun laoghaire. But to get to the bar and be told that there are only limited beer taps working and you can only choose for the one ones that don't have plastic cups over them ( which are hard to see ) . The atmosphere was brilliant, and live music rocked. This industry needs more places like it but gives us choices and away from Guinness and Heineken products.

16/04/2025: Well worth a visit, great food and good choice of wines. Will definitely go again.
15/04/2025: It was grand….certainly reminded that ppl wanted the table. Cannot have free tap water even with a bottle of wine. Menu limited. Maybe more suited to younger ppl who don’t stay as long.

03/03/2025: I have a medical condition and was at the bus stop and without my wallet. In desperate need of water I went into the 79 and asked the bar man and he was so kind and understanding. A real credit to your business.
03/03/2025: Danielle is very good staff member always on the ball, the carvery is the best around all the meats slow cooked i like the steak on stone €20 quid Monday's and Tuesdays can't go wrong especially if Weafer brothers on Mondays aswell
