This was our second time coming to this restaurant, and once again, it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. This time, we came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the staff made it extra special. They even wrote “Happy Birthday” on his dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch! A big thank you to Andre, who provided excellent service, so friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back again!

I was expecting so much from this place based on review. Food tasted good. We didn't have to wait too long for it. Deserts were average and not so many options. Overall I would not be back.

A Must-Visit in Dublin – Bull and Castle Restored Our Faith in Irish Cuisine! Our visit to Bull and Castle was nothing short of spectacular—far exceeding expectations and easily outshining Fire! After a disappointing experience at Fire, we started to wonder if Irish cuisine lacked flavor, much like some of the bland dining experiences we've had in Colorado, US. Thankfully, Bull and Castle proved us completely wrong! We opted for the Porterhouse, cooked to perfection, and paired it with a fantastic Spanish wine that complemented every bite. Every dish was spot on—creamy mash potatoes, flavorful spinach, perfectly seared scallops, crisp and golden chips, a juicy burger, and a stellar bread service that set the tone for the meal. Each bite was a testament to the quality and attention to detail that Bull and Castle delivers. And let’s talk about the service—Tiago was outstanding! He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made fantastic recommendations, ensuring every aspect of our meal was flawless. His warm and professional demeanor made us feel truly welcomed, turning a great meal into an unforgettable experience. Without a doubt, when we return to Ireland, this will be our go-to dining spot. Third time we have been here now and nowhere near as nice as . Wont be coming back as service /food not as good . Very expensive place for average service . Food better at other places . Shame .

I was in a hurry and very hungry. The oysters were tasty. The steak was amazing but the chips had a traditionally chipper taste to them. Wine glass was huge. Lovely atmosphere . Great food but beware the price is very expensive.

We asked for a special table and they gave us the best one with a view of the church. Exquisite meat, very good wines. The brownie with delicious ice cream. Totally recommended.. beautiful and quality.

Encore un de ces pubs de classe. Vous avez d'une part les pubs où coulent la bière au son des musiques celtes et qui ont un charme indéniable. Et puis vous avez les pubs où tout respire une ambiance feutrée, douce avec une lumière tamisée où seul le bar semble une illusion illuminée. Décor top, personnel sympathique et efficace et une prestation culinaire de très bon niveau. C'est dans l'assiette que l'on a compris que cet établissement fait la part belle aux meilleures viandes (avec une armoire à maturation). Leur publicité tourne autour de la viande de qualité et la prestation est à la hauteur. Rarement mangé une viande aussi succulente avec une cuisson milimétrée. Un excellent moment terminé avec un Irish Coffe de grande classe dans sa présentation. Très belle étape culinaire que nous conseillons vivement si vous êtes à Christchurch ou au musée Dublinia.

Un par de nuestros guías turísticos estaban recomendando Bull & Castle, parte del F. X. Buckley Collection, así que paramos aquí para almorzar. Tomé el filete Ribeye de 10 onzas. Estaba perfectamente cocinado, pero parecía que le faltaba algo. Pensé que era bueno, no genial. Puedo conseguir un Ribeye mejor a un Costco por menos de 1/2 el precio. Mi esposa tenía el F.X. Buckley Burger y me encantó. Tuve un bocado y estuve de acuerdo en que esta era una excelente hamburguesa. El puré de cebolla de primavera era bueno y el tamaño de la porción era grande. Pedí la ensalada César y no pensé que fuera nada especial. Debería haber pedido la ensalada de acompañamiento en su lugar. El servicio era excelente, el ambiente bueno, y mi cerveza estaba fría.
