Great burger, the best in Ireland.

The biggest double cheeseburger I've ever had, I think it was 500 grams :) The fries were also very tasty, I definitely recommend you try it.

First time in Dublin. Close to our hotel. Small menu, but expected for a burger place. Burger and fries were fantastic. Definite must if you are looking for a burger in Dublin.

Good place for smash burgers, the service was good and friendly. Good value for money. Recommended if you're in Dublin city centre.

I was pretty surprised that, after almost two years in Dublin, I had never tried Bunsen for their burgers. But, at 5pm on a Friday as a post finishing exams treat, the opportunity presented itself, and I was excited! When the menu is small and limited to just burgers, you’re going to have to hope that their burger is extraordinarily good, because this is all they really do. But, for my burger they fell short. I would rate it a 4.8/10 The meat to bun ratio was off (the bun giant to the patty), making the burger slippery and an uncomfortable eat (I was worried the patty would shoot out with every bite). Unfortunately it was also dry (and they forgot my tomatoes ): ) and I had to make up a lot of it with sauce provided on the table. Moreover, they had a GF burger, which my friend rated 7.5/10 but agreed that the burger was simply a bit too dry. The fries however, really elevated the experience. Not only did they give us hefty portions but both the sweet potato and the shoe string fries rated a strong 9/10: they were the highlight of the meal! Perhaps I have to try the cheeseburger next time (maybe it will be the glue of the burger…?)
