We had such a unique and fun visit to the Burren Nature Sanctuary thanks to Mary and Emilia the famous pig! My friend and I brought along our husbands who really had no interest in doing this pig walk, but we all had a great time with lots of laughs, and a very enjoyable 1 hour nature walk through the property. We can all highly recommend this activity- including our husbands! Mary clearly loves what she does and has a huge heart, caring for these beautiful animals at her sanctuary. Thank you for a great afternoon and we look forward to returning again, next time to enjoy their lovely onsite cafe !

Amelia the pig and her guide (the co-owner of the sanctuary) were a real treat. The fairy forest tour was silly and fun, and we enjoyed meeting the other animals on the property. We toured the grounds a bit and had a coffee before carrying on to our next stop. Definitely a worthwhile visit!

The couples pig walk with Emilia was so much fun. It was a beautiful place for a walk with great info and fun commentary from our guide. You can tell the animals here are well cared for and they do not overbook the experiences. They were so kind we even received a book of Celtic wisdom as a gift as we had just recently gotten married. Wonderful experience, so glad we came here!
I went here for a school tour with 20 students with additional needs. From start to finish we had the most wonderful time and staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The facilities were top notch and impeccably clean. I am looking forward to returning in the summer with my own children.

Lovely stroll around on a fab day wanted to do a pig walk with the kids but it's very expensive - otherwise it's reasonable

We had a wonderful afternoon on the fairy pig walk with our guide Mary and Flora the pig. It was very surreal and great fun. Mary was so informative on what they do at the sanctuary and very knowledgeable on all surrounding the wildlife and rare flowers. She gave us a lovely gift of Yeats poetry. Highly recommend paying a visit here.

Super friendly staff, adorable animals, some old stone ruins casually strewn about, a disappearing lake, and a cafe with fresh baked goodies! What’s not to like? We loved our visit here and we looooved petting all the cute animals. Amelia the pig took us on a quick walk through a forest quaintly decorated with cute little fairy homes, and the adorable Pygmy goats were super affectionate.

Mary was so kind to show us all in the botanical society around her lovely sanctuary. It's a lovely guided nature stroll, perfect for a first stop in the burren to be familiar with all of the plants and the landscape before you head out. The disappearing lake was amazing to see and hear about! Of course, the highlight had to be Flora the friendly pig and the lovely sheep. Thank you Mary from all of us from the botanical society!!
