Burren Nature Sanctuary & Cafe in

I booked the fairy pig walk and planned to propose to my boyfriend as he really loves pigs. Mary was amazing and helped me organize everything. She sent me videos beforehand so that I knew where to go with him, let Emilia the pig deliver the ring to my boyfriend and took pictures and videos for us. We got to do the walk, meet all of the other animals and even got to meet the piglets. Marys and Roys kindness made this day special and we will always remember it with a smile. Thank you for everything!

From the moment we entered, Mary made us feel so welcome and meet us on the car park. My daughter Emelia is obsessed with pigs so this was her dream come through. Emelia got to meet Emilia the pig. Emilia was very calm on the fairy walk and Mary has her well trained to stop for pictures and videos. We then went to meet Apollo the pig and learnt how to brush and act around the mini pigs. We then went into the mini pigs which were so friendly and loved a belly rub. We meet the other animals and fed them they were all so friendly. Thank you we had the best day ever , ten out of ten ❤️🐷🐽🥰

My sister and I visited twice during our stay near Kinvara in June 2024. I can't wait to get back there in September 2025 with a friend who has never been to Ireland!

We had an AMAZING time at the Burren Nature Sanctuary & Botanical Collection! It was one of our favorite things on our visit to Ireland. Mary was so knowledgeable and friendly as she walked with us on our fairy walk. We adored Emilia. She was so funny and happy. We actually could have spent much more time here, as the grounds offer an abundance of flora to explore. We spent a lot of time with the adorable mini pigs!

Absolutely fabulous experience, would definitely recommend. Mary showed us around and answered our many questions about the animals. The piglets were absolutely adorable and we were able to spend as much time with them as we wanted. The nature reserve itself is a pleasure to walk around and very peaceful. 10/10 experience, thank you.

What a wonderful place lucked away a short drive from Galway. The fairy pig walk, baby pig meet, and botanical walk are great activities for kids and adults alike and a welcome break from the typical tourist activities. We enjoyed hearing from Mary all about the natural landscape and history. The playground was also a hit with our child. Definitely recommend a visit here, it was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Our 6 year old daughter was delighted by our visit today, as were the rest of the family. So much work and creativity has gone into this attraction, it was a pleasure to experience it in person. :)
