Burtown House and Gardens in

My second time here for dinner was far better than the first. The service was excellent and the food was delicious especially the vegetarian options. A couple of suggestions - Some small plate options would be great such as olives/salted almonds and also desert wine options too for those who don't want to drink coffee at night. Would be great to see more local offerings/antiques in the shop on the way out, I'm sure more people would be in the buying mood after dinner.

Went for Sunday lunch with our baby. Staff were accommodating sitting us without a booking. The food was just fabulous! So delicious!! The chefs are amazing, massive credit to them producing such wonderful tasty dishes. I had the catch of the day and the fish was cooked perfectly. I was just disappointed that we didn’t have time to get dessert as we had an appointment to run off too. But it’s more reason to go back again soon! We live in Dublin City but this is worth the trip and €50 for 3 courses of great quality delicious food is good value compared to what we would pay for the same in Dublin.

Personally, I thought it was expensive. Dublin prices in Athy. It would suit an erudite clientele. One has to pay extra to view the gardens.

Only 50 minute drive from Dun Laoghaire. Nice to get out into the country for brunch, a walk, and to look at the early teardrops

Great Christmas lunch venue for family

A sensational meal for my daughter’s 18th birthday. The setting is magical, the food superb and the service from Mary and Nabeel was excellent. The food stole the show, everyone was raving about it. We will be back but for now a heartfelt thanks to the Green Barn team for making our evening so special.

We had our wedding in the Burtown House in September 2024 - and it was indeed a magical experience! From the night before the ceremony when our families met each other for the first time at heartwarming dinner in the Stable Yard House (we came in late but the staff thoughtfully prepared a nice meal for us in advance) to the end of the celebration the next day we had nothing but wonderful moments. James and the team were around supporting us at every step, extremely helpful and truly welcoming. Food was magnificent and definitely something everyone discusses 2 months later, both the dinner and canapés at the reception. Huge thanks to the whole team of Burtown House for everything that was done that day!
