Cafe 1920 in Dublin

When we arrived, there had been a mix-up with our booking, and we had a table for two instead of three. Just as we were about to leave, the manager, Patrick, quickly stepped in to resolve the issue. He made us feel incredibly welcome, and in the midst of the bustling pre-Christmas shopping chaos in Dublin, it was a refreshing change of pace. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and we’ll definitely be back!

absolutely brilliant, steak sandwich perfectly cooked and chicken burger full of flavour. The lady waitress was super friendly. Only in Dublin for the weekend but coming back for dinner!

Je loopt er zomaar voorbij. Geen enkel probleem om alleen een kop koffie en een appel crumple te nemen. Vriendelijke bediening. Erg mooie ambiance.

Luciano’s service is good, the food here is good, especially the sea food chowder. Recommended.

My wife and I went in for dinner and drinks yesterday evening. We were greeted immediately and graciously by the host and bartender, Luciano. Luciano made us feel at home and ensured we were seated comfortably and attended to by the wait staff, who were attentive, professional, and explained all the questions we had about the menu. To drink, my wife had a good, dry Sauvignon Blanc, and I had a Smithwick's with a Guinness head, which Luciano prepared expertly. For dinner, my wife had a Caesar Salad followed by Seafood Chowder, both of which were excellent. I had the Linguini with Prawns accompanied by crusty, toasty garlic bread - all were outstanding. The restaurant itself is spacious and elegant. Strongly recommended.

The food is amazing! And if you are lucky enough to have Julie as a waitress... she is amazing! Thanks for the lovely time!
