Cafe de Mode in Ballon

Friendly staff, great sandwiches, nice atmosphere. Do not miss this experience when passing through Ballon. Never disappointed. New items added to the menu. They just keep improving.

Found this when in need of a sambo. It was up a side street, say that there was not a large choice in Ballon. But boy this place was the biz for sandwiches. Fresh bread with ample filling. It was a quality morsel,lovely and moist. It would do well in a large populated area.I love to try out their brunch/breakfast. Loved all the clocks on the walls. Staff were good and weren't like.

Popped in here on passsing through Ballon. Staff were super friendly and I got a very tasty cappuccino and toastie.

Excellent coffee and scones, best in County Carlow. Really enjoyed our visit and haven't had as good anywhere in a long time.

Lovely cafe. Very cosy and lovely staff. This is my 3rd visit and I have had something different from the menu every time and have not been disappointed. The sandwiches are really good and the filling doesn't fall out when you bite into them, which is always a bonus 😊. The coffee is really good too. The cinnamon Latte is delish. This cafe is well worth a visit. Even if it takes you out of your way it will be worth it. I'm adding to this review Dec'24 because we are regular visitors now and every time we visit I want to write a review because it is always a pleasure. We have brought friends and family from ages 9 to 70 and all have been delighted with the food, the service and of course the quirky decor. Jules verne inspired I believe. Christmas has arrived at Cafe le mode and it is even cosier now. I look forward to our next visit👌

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was quick and efficient. Food was top class.
