Found this when in need of a sambo.
It was up a side street, say that there was not a large choice in Ballon. But boy this place was the biz for sandwiches. Fresh bread with ample filling. It was a quality morsel, lovely and moist. It would do well in a large populated area.I love to try out their brunch/breakfast. Loved all the clocks on the walls. Staff were good and weren't like.
It's an unassuming gem offering a refreshing simplicity that never fails to satisfy. Its gracious and welcoming staff adds to the delightful ambiance of the place. I would highly recommend this humble café to anyone seeking good food in a relaxed and inviting setting.
Went for lunch while on a Training Course today. They were so accommodating joining tables together for us. The food was amazing. Sorry I didn't take a photo now. A cup of most delicious most definitely homemade Vegetable soup. A toasted Foccacia with Chicken, Pesto and Buffalo Mozarella. Was so delicious. And a side of homemade salad.
Will most definitely be back next time I'm back in Ballon. Friendly and very efficient Manager and girls.
Thank you.
We visited this hidden gem passing through as we had heard about this cafe, but the description didn't prepare me for what I saw, what a beautiful setting, graceful, cosy, bright, warm and inviting, like a virtual hug, Ireland's answer to McDonald's fatigue! The food was delicious, with a great selection on the menu, the coffee devine!! The staff were warm and friendly, that warmth stays with you for the day. a fantastic break in our journey, we'll definitely be back!!!
