Café en Seine in Dublin

Revamp done recently. Beautiful looking. Statt attentive. Crowd was considered & classy, nice mixture of young and old. Food looked solid from afar. Will be back.

A great spot for a break or a good casual dinner. The cocktails and glass of wine are a bit pricey. Great atmosphere and well-decorated.

One of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at. If you're looking for quality over quantity, we highly recommend this place. My sister prefers smaller portions, so this was perfect for her—and she had the best fish and chips she's ever tasted here. The fish was lightly battered, not overly coated in flour, so the flavor of the fish really came through. It was served piping hot and perfectly crispy. The dessert was a standout too—a choux bun with pistachio ice cream and chocolate sauce. The chocolate sauce was rich and well-balanced, not too sweet, with a nice hint of cocoa bitterness that we really enjoyed. Service was generally good, although the host seating guests was a bit slow—still, very friendly. The ambience was lovely, and the toilets were like those in a fancy 5-star hotel, complete with towelettes for drying your hands instead of just paper towels. Overall, while the price is on the higher side, we felt it was absolutely worth it.

Had a great time in Café en Seine with brunch on Sunday Easter. The atmosphere was awesome cocktails & food was amazing! Our waiter and waitress was very helped with little things like adjusting the table and making sure we were comfortable and had all we wanted. Would go back again

We stopped by Café en Seine because it looked like the kind of place where you might accidentally run into a poet or a minor celebrity. The interior? Stunning. Like, "did I just step into a vintage Parisian opera house with cocktails?" kind of stunning. The food? Let’s say it dressed for the occasion but didn’t quite show up for the performance. I had the “Super Salad” – which sounded like it might fight off scurvy and existential dread, but mostly just sat there looking healthy. Alex went the opposite route and got the burger, which looked good and didn’t complain, so we’ll give it a polite nod. Great place to sip, chat, and soak in the ambiance. Just maybe don’t go in starving unless you plan on following it up with Supermac’s.

Service was lovely - manager was attentive and in tune with everyone's needs! Food was amazing, the Beetroot and Goat Cheese starter was phenomenal and the chicken was tasty!

We had an absolutely unreal dining experience at Cafe en Seine. We enjoyed our meal so much, the food was all delicious. But above all we appreciated the staff who was so lovely to our little toddler. The manager, the front desk staff all the servers were so nice to us and helped us out. Our server Isabele was honestly so amazing. We definitely would come back here if we get the chance to visit Dublin again.

Très joli cadre mais très bruyant pourtant le restaurant n'était pas rempli, service professionnel mais pas très agréable c'est le seul restaurant de notre séjour ou l'amabilité des serveurs laissent à désirer. Nourriture ok mais rien d'exceptionnel, la boisson n'était pas celle inscrite sur la carte mais un dérivé.
