Cafe Goa was open and busy on the Tuesday night we were in Waterford. We were looking for an Indian or Asian meal and several other places were closed on Tuesdays. We enjoyed a very tasty, well cooked, meal with a nice bottle of wine. The service was friendly and efficient, providing a very enjoyable dinner on the night we were there.

A very busy restaurant, despite booking I was seated at a tiny table next to a door with customers/staff walking past me every few seconds. Mine was the only table with no flowers in a little vase 😕 The noise level was quite dramatic due to a couple of large groups. I struggled to be understood when trying to order a takeaway to be ready for when I’d finished my sit down meal. Apart from that the food was superb & excellent service. I would definitely recommend Cafe Goa to anyone visiting Waterford who enjoys Indian cuisine. Just be prepared for a little chaos!

06/04/2025: 5 stars! Made a reservation for a large group and we were catered for perfectly. Food was great, filling, not expensive, and there wasn't a long wait. They've responded to my booking request with confirmation weeks in advance, which I found really nice since some places wait until a day or 2 before your planned visit to confirm a booking.
16/03/2025: Nice experience, mixed pakistani and indian flavours and they served food in chafing dishes so the food stayed hot.

28/01/2025: I recently visited Brooklyn Restaurant Ardkeen and was thoroughly impressed by the lovely atmosphere and the extensive menu, especially the huge variety of gluten-free options. The gluten-free vegetarian pizza and gluten-free bruschetta were particularly standout dishes, bursting with flavour and freshness. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming ambience, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The decor is modern yet cosy, which adds to the overall dining experience. While the staff was very friendly and attentive, they did seem quite busy, which led to a bit of a messy environment at times. However, their friendliness and willingness to accommodate dietary needs were much appreciated. Despite the minor issue with the busy staff, the overall experience was delightful, and I would definitely recommend Brooklyn Restaurant Ardkeen to anyone looking for delicious gluten-free options in a charming setting. Highly recommended!!
