Café Marmalade in Dublin

I’ve been a regular at Café Marmalade for quite some time, and I can 100% say it’s nothing short of amazing. It’s hands-down my favorite place to go. I’ve never had a bad or even "oaky" experience here. Every visit starts with a warm welcome from one of the wonderful staff members, all of whom work seamlessly as a team. Sharon, in particular, is an absolute gem and a standout. The service is consistently prompt, friendly, and thoughtful. The team even remembers your order, offers genuinely helpful recommendations, and always makes the effort to share a laugh. These little touches make every visit feel personal and elevate the experience from a 5/5 to an 6/5. The coffee? Easily the best in the area, with a wide variety of options, and syrups. The recent addition of late opening hours and a new dinner menu has only elevated the experience further. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. And now, with the introduction of an ice cream machine complete with toppings and sauces, they’ve elevated even further! It’s clear a lot of thought and care went into these additions, and it really shows. Even the venue itself reflects this attention to detail. It’s cozy and beautifully curated, with unique photos, charming lighting fixtures, and an inviting atmosphere. The ambient lighting during the new evening hours adds a special touch that makes the space feel even more beautiful. My consistently wonderful experiences are a direct result of a team that clearly loves what they do. I can’t wait to see how this place continues to grow! 10/5 – Highly recommend.

What a real Gem, just off the pelletstown stop. Food was way beyond good, restaurant decor comfortable all held together by pleasent and helpfull staff. Altogether excelent. Do visit, we need to support young irish business like this.

I’ve been a regular at Café Marmalade for almost a year now, and I can confidently say that calling the food and overall experience “perfect” every time would still be an understatement. Being greeted with a warm welcome, often by name, from Sharon and the amazing team sets Café Marmalade apart as by far my favourite local spot. The environment of being recognised and genuinely valued as a customer is one that I never would’ve recognised in restaurants/café’s until my experience here. One of the things that stands out the most is how well the staff work together. It’s clear they’re not just colleagues but a close-knit team that supports each other. Orders arrive promptly, always with a smile, and the attention to detail, whether it’s remembering a regular’s favourite drink or taking the time to check in on every table, makes all the difference. The staff, without exception, do an incredible job at making the experience the way it is. More recently, they have been serving food and drinks later in the evening - making Café Marmalade even more of a go-to spot for me. The atmosphere remains warm, inviting, and seamless. It’s rare to find a place that nails it every single time, but somehow, they do. A place like this doesn’t happen by accident; It’s the result of a team that truly loves what they do and takes pride in every plate they prepare and every customer they serve. If you’re looking for a spot with outstanding food, a welcoming atmosphere, and staff who make you feel right at home, Café Marmalade it is.

Lovely breakfast this morning and much needed coffee. Food always good and Sharon at front of house is always so welcoming that it really makes cafe marmalade a lovely local experience each time.

Visited today for the first time for coffee after moving into the area recently but will definitely be back to try the food! Lovely staff

Friendly staff, tasty coffee and great service

My brother has been bad mouthing this place for months so I had to give it a try to find out if he was right or not. I found parking easily I found an available table easily I found the menu interesting with good variety and well priced I ordered an Americano and the buttermilk chicken sandwich. The ordering experience was without any issue. The coffee was brought to me within a couple of minutes. It was nice. The sandwich took almost 15 minutes but I could see the chefs were not delaying. The sandwich was nice. I don't know what is wrong with my brother, if I loved or worked nearby I would be visiting Cafe Marmalade frequently.

Our book club had our meeting at Café Marmalade for the first time this evening, and it was a fantastic experience. Sharon took great care of us throughout the night—she was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm, cosy, and perfect for a relaxing evening. It was the ideal spot for our group of eight, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
