Great wee coffee shop. Good coffee and scones. Also a good selection of other sweet items. Plenty of seating inside. Clean and tidy toilets. Would return if ever in the area again.

Our sandwiches were very tasty. A little expensive we thought. Mine was chicken for 11 euro and for that price was a little sparse on the chicken. But the quality of ingredients was very high. Lovely sourdough bread. And they were quite large sandwiches. The girls serving were fine but could have been a bit more smiley. The inside and outside space to sit is fine but could definitely be made better with twinkly lights or fake/real flowers. Generally though a very good cafe. Delicious triple chocolate mouse. All the desserts looked lovely though 4 euro for a cookie is steep.

Clanard Court Hotel

20/09/2025: Arrived late and we were looked after very well by reception staff. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Impressive reception area. Overall hotel left a very good impression particularly in relation to staff and management.
20/08/2025: My family and I stayed here for one night for my sister’s wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the food was delicious. The room we stayed in was huge and had 3 beds for my family of 6. I was especially happy with the service and kindness of the general manager, Owen, who helped us when we checked out. My husband’s wedding ring fell into a sewer in the parking lot (thanks to my son lol) and the manager came to not only give us tools, but he stuck his entire bare arm down that sewer and got the ring back. We offered him a tip because that’s what we do where we live but he kindly refused it and put it back into my baby’s stroller. Very kind man!
