While visiting Dublin, we stopped at this Italian restaurant; the welcome was friendly and warm, the place is very pretty, and the food is very good, with pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven 😋😋 We highly recommend it.

The food is fresh and well prepared. The service was really great. Friendly helpful willing servers were refreshing to find. The restaurant is small and rather cramped but not unlike many others in the area.

Nice, friendly, comfortable restaurant. Great pizza. Staff are friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere. Window seat gives lots of entertainment to the pedestrianised street outside.

Mi esposa y yo reservamos Café Toplis después de pasar por una noche y ver lo ocupado IT estaba. IT no decepcionó, IT estuvo muy bien. Teníamos bruschetta para empezar y mi esposa tenía plato de pasta de pollo y yo tenía pasta con pollo y setas. Ambos eran excelentes y el servicio también era de primera clase. Recomendamos encarecidamente Café Toplis.

Tuvimos una experiencia encantadora aquí de principio a fin. El personal de camareros era encantador amable eficiente, te hizo sentir bienvenido, así que fue un buen comienzo para una noche muy agradable. Tuvimos entrantes principales una copa de vino y cócteles de postre y conseguimos una pizza Takeawey para mi hija que estaba en un concierto en el 3 olympia. No podría faltar nada. recomendaría encarecidamente este encantador pequeño lugar. . acogedor con comida de primera categoría. .

20/10/2025: 6 ladies dined here on Saturday evening for my special birthday celebrations. The ambience, service, wine and food was excellent. We had an amazing evening and I would definitely recommend. (Best lasagne I have ever had) next time I’m in Dublin I will be returning. 🥰
09/10/2025: Booked to celebrate a 40th birthday for 9 of us, they were accommodating for the booking just a few days before the event. Sadly that was where the pleasantries ended, the restaurant was very dark/dull which made the menu hard to read, I asked a couple of times if the battery operated lights could be replaced as no light was coming off them - this was ignored, drinks orders need chasing up/didn’t materialise, only a single small jug was offered for water. The food was ok, nothing special and was definitely overpriced. The toilets were dirty, had no toilet paper etc. despite it being early and the place practically empty. And no recognition of the celebratory occasion. I can’t say I’ll be recommending this place to anyone.
