Been here a few times and had a different experience on every one. The last time was a Friday night as a couple, we probably had the last sitting but it was such a strange atmosphere. There was hardly anyone in the place and we felt a bit rushed out the door. It was eerily quiet and just plain awkward - not what you might expect of a bustling Friday night. Returned recently with kids and again, the place was practically empty and the vibe was just off. Really quiet, teenage waiter grunting at us, there was no ambience at all Even some cheesy Italian music in the background would have helped!
I will say the food is good, pizzas are excellent, tiramisu excellent, but they need to rethink the garlic bread - what the hell?! Had a long wait for a bowl of plain pasta for the kids. Also, for the love of god please put chips on the menu for kids! No kids' menu, no option for even a smaller-sized pizza, so not sure how family-friendly it is.
I was told at 12 on holiday werkeekend the kitchens is not open untill 13 but they are so respectful I love them and the staff was amazing when I got bat at 16 10/10 do go there
One of the best Italian restaurants in Dublin, lovely staff and the atmosphere is great, they are dog friendly also.
I had the prawn pil pil for starter and pizza for my main, the dough was extremely fresh.
10/10 I will be visiting again soon.
