01/06/2025: Loved this place! I had the veggie breakfast and they were super nice about swapping the eggs for a fresh salad – such a great touch. My husband had the Cajun chicken panini which was full of flavour, and the iced mocha (and hot mocha!) were honestly amazing. Everything tasted great and the vibe was lovely. Definitely a must if you’re in Skerries!

15/06/2025: Excellent bar. The staff are so lovely here. The only downside is smoking allowed in the (previously) outdoor area in the rear. It’s covered now so not sure how it’s allowed.

18/06/2025: We had a very pleasant visit to the mills. Our guide was amazing, with a high knowledge of the mills and surroundings. The mills are very well preserved, and landscapes all around are breathtaking. Delicious cakes and cappuccino in the coffee shop
18/06/2025: Great insight into life in a million. We had a terrific guide, Patrick, and it was great to actually get inside the windmills and learn how they worked.

25/05/2025: Coffee and treats are delicious, management need to put up notices for customers to vacate tables. Buying a tea and sitting there in a party of five drinking glasses of water doesn't warrant the expense. It isn't a community centre.

29/05/2025: Called in at 8.20am on my way into work as I work close by. A couple of customers sitting at a table drinking coffee. My plan was to order take away but was told they were not open….
If this is the case why have your front door open for anybody to stroll in and why serve to serve coffee to other customers…if you are not open!!!

Service, location, atmosphere and the awesome food deserve no less than 5.
ps You won't need to top up your tummy on the way home after this restaurant.
The portions and superb quality of the food will have you rubbing your tummy with a smile on your face. 😋🌞
11/06/2025: We visited this restaurant for our anniversary, and overall, we had a lovely experience. The food was tasty. One small downside we encountered was that both the pil pil prawns and calamari were overly oily—especially the prawns. While it’s somewhat expected for calamari to be a bit greasy due to being deep-fried, the prawns really shouldn’t be that soaked in oil.
That said, the flavours were great, and we would still recommend the place for a nice dinner out.

25/06/2025: Always a lovely food experience in Blue Bar. My only negative - the font on the menu is so difficult to read in the light, so a torch and glasses are a must at my age! Good job I usually know what I want to eat. Can't fault anything else, that's why we are return customers.
23/06/2025: It's fine. A bit pricey. Food was nice but the chowder was just ok. Still it's a pleasant place to sit and watch the harbour and the boats
