Stoop Your Head in Skerries

Lovely place fab views staff are really nice and helpful. Fish is their speciality as you would expect beside the sea.

Dishes we ordered and shared between two of us were- appetiser mussels which were Perfectly steamed and a generous size. Seafood chowder was the standout. Lots of seafood and a flavourful, rich broth. Cod&Chips - the cod was a bit bland but perfectly cooked. The batter was excellent. Service was a bit slow however the atmosphere on a late weekday afternoon was fantastic. Ask for a table by the window but do know if it’s sunny and hot out, you will be hot seated there. Was our second time and we will be back.

Nice view from the restaurant. Everything else was average

Food very good. Got the seafood platter, fish was very good. Could have done with 2 slices of brown bread, 1.5 slices was small but otherwise we really enjoyed stoops. Service was excellent

Gorgeous View especially in the outdoor view tables, very well presented food being served, lovely staff, very helpful. Great place to eat. Ordered a beautiful battered cod with chips was delightful in taste. However ordered a side salad to the dish which was at €7, wee bit pricey for some extra salad however completely worth a good meal with such a scenary. Would reccomend booking a table in advance in warm weather as can be busy however plenty of seating available.

Called in on way from Rosslare to Belfast. Great service and they kept my stuff I left behind! A gem. And you really do have to stoop yer head even when only 5ft2
