Caffè Nero in Athlone

Love this coffee shop, dog friendly which is a huge bonus, we can bring our dog for a walk around town and then pop in for a coffee. Staff always so kind!

Caffe Nero has always been my most favourite place in Athlone for catching up with friends or studying. My dog really loves this place too. The staff are very helpful and welcoming each time. The staff always accommodate your preferences by creating interesting drinks such as an interesting ‘snickers hot chocolate’ but with hazelnut syrup! (Which I highly recommend). My dog was welcomed with a cup of dog-friendly cream which she loved! Thank you Caffe Nero team for such exceptional service in our little town!!!

Friendly staff and comfortable environment

Absolutely outstanding atmosphere, ambience and don’t get me started on the coffee. The staff are incredible and Martin runs a shop that feels like home away from home.
