Cahenys Bar in Sligo

Stopped by this pub in Sligo on our way down the West Coast and so pleased we did - really friendly people who made us feel welcome. Shout out to Anne behind the bar - you made our day thank you! Everyone seemed to know each other in this traditional pub, a local pub I think. Free street parking out front. Cash only - there is an ATM across the road.

Had a great night here. Met up with Heather's relatives. The atmosphere was amazing. The Guinness was spot on.

First time. What a lovely friendly cosy bar

I stopped by for a coffee today on Friday the 30th of August 2024 at 11:30am before a job interview, I ordered a coffee and when I was about to pay the young guy said its free to enjoy, he wished me luck and was extremely friendly and polite.. Then I went outside with my Mug of Coffee shortly after the locals came outside for a ciggerate and couldn't have been anymore nicer and friendly. What a genuinely lovely experience to have when your already experiencing nerves surrounding an interview. It was just a really nice experience to have. After a long day trying to find a place for an outdoor pint, we came across Cahenys pub. The staff were welcoming and made us feel at home. Tricky pours a mean pint!
