Very tasty Sunday lunch & substantial. Staff friendly and service excellent. It was a cold evening & the place could have a little warmer. Overall very happy.
Have heard a lot about the breakfast in The Caman Inn in Delvin, but this was the first time to try it.
While the pub was quiet (where isn't in November), the breakfast certainly didn't disappoint. No oil on the plate, which is a great sign in a full Irish, Priced around what you'd expect to pay for a breakfast.
A refill of tea/coffee wasn't an issue and the two members of staff were very pleasant.
Although we only stopped in here for a quick coffee, we simply fell in love with this place. As with many small town pubs in Ireland, it is small and unassuming. Our coffees were expertly prepared and served, and we were treated like locals! The Caman Inn is inviting and warm and I hope we can come back someday to enjoy an evening here! Note: Ask to see the official "Jameson Whiskey Tasting Certificate" earned by the pub proprietor. Really cool!
Can't believe I have been passing this place for years going to Mullingar. Dropped in by chance and to say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Could not fault anything. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef and complimenting him. Staff were very attentive and the place was spotless. Looking forward to revisiting again and recommending to all my friends.
