Had the pleasure of taking my mam for a beautiful afternoon tea on Thursday 24/10/24. We were met with a smile at the door and taken to our seats, where we were treated like royality, the cakes , I can only describe as beautiful both aesthetically and tasting, the sandwiches where stunning. The staff eveb sang happy birthday to my little mum, which made her day :). Maura, (Laura with an M;) ) and Tom the owners make you feel at home and like family, so much so that I brought my partner back yesterday to experience the atmosphere. Thank you so much for a magical start to my mums birthday, a home away from home that is now going to be our regular spot

Fantastic experience. Escape rooms are tough but fair. Our group successfully got out! Prices are very reasonable as well. Great events get run here too. Will definitely be back. Social room with tea, coffee, biscuits, board games and video games. Must visit.

A perfect stopover right next to Temple Bar or Dublin Castle. We were served very quickly. We had a club sandwich, a panini and a coffee all for less than €30. It was very good and enough for a midday meal.

Papa's Pizza

06/01/2025: As an Italian, I didn’t expect to find pizza this good in Dublin, but Pa Pa Pizzeria truly surprised me. The dough is light, perfectly baked, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. Even better, it’s super easy to digest—a rare quality when eating out. We tried the 12" Margherita (€10) and the 16" Margherita (€16) on two different occasions. These prices (as of January 6, 2025) are the lowest we’ve seen in Dublin for pizza of this quality. The pizzeria is located on Dublin Portal Street, a spot that’s not as busy as it deserves to be. It’s a shame because this place really stands out. The space is small, but there are a few seats where you can comfortably enjoy your pizza. It’s also open late, which was perfect for us since we visited in the evening. At first, the staff seemed a bit reserved, but after chatting, we found them to be very kind and welcoming. If you’re in Dublin and craving authentic pizza, I highly recommend Pa Pa Pizzeria. It’s a hidden gem that deserves way more attention. Give it a try—you won’t regret it!

Cherry Tree

07/12/2024: Very good , staff looking afterall the customers.
15/11/2024: The Cherrytree Pub at Walkinstown Roundabout is so much more than your average local. This gem seamlessly combines the warmth of a traditional Irish pub with the charm of a vibrant community hub. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with an atmosphere that's equal parts cozy and electric—a place where laughter, storytelling, and camaraderie flow as freely as the pints. The Cherrytree has become a one-stop destination for all occasions. Whether you're in the mood for a casual drink with friends, a full Irish breakfast, or a perfectly brewed coffee from their hatch (ideal for when you're on the go), this place delivers every time. Speaking of breakfast, the white pudding deserves a standing ovation—rich, flavorful, and absolutely divine. It's the kind of meal that lingers in your memory long after the last bite. But there's more. The Cherrytree isn't just a pub; it's a theatre for the soul. Hosting live performances and events, it brings the community together in a way that few venues can. It's also a fantastic function space, making it perfect for celebrations, gatherings, or just a casual night out. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every visitor leaves with a smile. If you're near Walkinstown, the Cherrytree is a must-visit. It's a place where great food, excellent drinks, and an even better atmosphere come together in perfect harmony.
