Cara's Kitchen and Bar in

We had a great experience last night at Cara's with my parents, wife and kids. Most of us had pizzas, they were absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Special mention to our server Ashling for how well she looked after us, she's a star.

Food is always lovely in Caras but I'm giving a low rating from our last experience there our waiter was really nice and attentive we asked the waiter could we have our childs food chopped up as he has a disability and the knifes weren't good enough on the table to do this he asked the chef and the chef proceeded to give out to him and handed him a rough steak knife for us to do it ourselves I could hear him say this it was no better than the one we had on the table already by the time we had it someway chopped up it was gone cold and our son didn't want to eat it our food was gone Cold too you could see into the kitchen and I could see the chef mouthing off aswell.. Im a chef myself and I didn't think it was a big ask it would have taken them 2 minutes to do in the kitchen very disappointed and also the way the chef spoke to the waiter I told him it wasn't his fault and I could see exactly what the chef said to him this is our fourth time been to centre parcs and eating at Caras it was always our favourite but after this we won't eat there again it wasn't even busy when we asked as we had an early booking so disappointed

Great place with great views, food and drinks

Service was very, very slow. Took over 45 mins for our food to arrive. They force you to pay 7.5% service charge or you have to ask them to remove it which I despise. Food was fine but nothing amazing. The lad with the guitar was great, he started to get into the swing of it after 20 minutes. Not sure I'd be back.

The pizza base was made to hold more toppings I'm afraid.
