Nice pub, I only called in for drinks but I enjoyed the Guinness.

Ever since Mardyke Street has been given a facelift I had been meaning to pop into the pub, which has also got a glow up. You can clearly see that there are some regulars who feel very much at home there. I quite like the decor, there is a TV for those who don't want to miss the football/rugby matches. A good Guinness and a few chats, a nice evening.

The Dark Horse Bar & Kitchen

16/03/2024: Great pub dinner here. Table service was awesome and staff were so lovely. Mozzarella sticks entree were perfect, chicken and burger great as well. The pub is a younger crowd and is the vibe, well worth stopping in at any age.
08/03/2024: Had the Steak sandwich and chips, Steak sandwich was lovely , but the frozen over-cooked chips were terrible had to leave them there. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

10/02/2024: Fantastic restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. I would highly recommend savoury fare for any meal breakfast lunch or dinner as well as just for a coffee and a scone.
